How to get to SVA from central Uppsala

Cycle
You can cycle along the Fyrisån River (approximately 6 km) from central Uppsala. The cycle path starts at Svandammen next to Stadsparken. See Uppsala Municipality's cycle map (pdf).

Bus
Buses from central Uppsala to the Ultuna area depart from Uppsala Central Station (bus no. 4), among other places. Get off at the stop called SVA. The bus from the central station takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Find timetables through UL, Upplands lokaltrafik.

Car
Take Dag Hammarskjölds väg past the Glunten area in the direction of Sunnersta. After the intersection at Kungsängsleden, go straight ahead for approximately 1 km. You will then see signs for SVA. Turn left onto Veterinärvägen and then turn left at the roundabout onto Ulls väg. At the end of the road you will find SVA.

How to reach Uppsala from Arlanda and Stockholm

Public transport
Train: local transport to Uppsala from Arlanda with SL, Greater Stockholm local transport. Long-distance train to Uppsala from Arlanda with SJ. Trains depart from SkyCity located between terminal 4 and 5.

Bus 801 with UL, Upplands local transport from Arlanda to Uppsala Central Station. Buses depart from terminal 4.

Car
Drive the E4, north and follow the signs for Uppsala.
Exit towards Uppsala Södra. Continue straight ahead towards Trafikplats Säby.
Drive straight through the small roundabout at ICA Maxi.
Turn left at the large roundabout.
Continue on Kungsängsleden for about 3 km.
Follow the signs for Ultuna and turn left onto Dag Hammarskjölds väg.
Follow the signs for SVA, left onto Veterinärvägen.
Turn left at the roundabout onto Ulls väg.
Follow the signs SVA.
